What might sessions involve?
- Initial assessment and understanding of your concerns
- Establishing emotional safety and stabilisation before trauma processing when appropriate
- Identifying memories, triggers, beliefs and emotional patterns that may be maintaining distress
- Using EMDR or another appropriate evidence-based approach when clinically suitable
- Reviewing progress and adapting the treatment plan collaboratively
